About Me

Cecilia is an Argentine-American, bilingual screenwriter. The daughter of a psychoanalyst and a law professor, she’s especially interested in stories about modern women reconciling their own desires with societal expectations.

She recently received her Masters in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute in LA, where she wrote three feature screenplays, a pilot, and four produced films. Her thesis film, You & Me (& Chaz & Rodney), just wrapped post-production.

After earning her BA in Theater and Psychology from Wesleyan University, Cecilia wrote, produced, and starred in the award-winning shorts Do It Again and Neon Rage. 

As an actor, she has also appeared in TV, plays, and improv shows, most recently portraying Dolores Zorreguieta in the HBO/Max series Máxima.
